John Bolton threatens war crimes court with sanctions in virulent attack

John Bolton, the hawkish US national security adviser, has threatened the international criminal court (ICC) with sanctions and made an excoriating attack on the institution in a speech in Washington.

Bolton pushed for sanctions over an ICC investigation into alleged American war crimes in Afghanistan. He also announced on Monday the closure of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) office in Washington because of its calls for an ICC inquiry into Israel.

The U.S. never ever does anything wrong in a combat zone and therefore no one, including the ICC has the right to judge anything we do and therefore when they try to do so they are an affront to our sovereignty.  In short, we have the right to do anything we want (torture, My Lai, et al) and it’s not a crime.

Speaking of respecting sovereignty, neither our government nor our allies respect other nations sovereignty and are the biggest violators.

For example,  arming Syrian rebels, Israel bombing Syria as they wish (they bombed Damascus’ International airport just yesterday), Trump talking with MEK the terrorist organization to cause disruption in Iran, sanctions against Iran for a non existent nuclear program or ordering them not to test ballistic missiles for their self defense…the list goes on and on.

Actually, Israel is slaughtering Palestinians by scores every week. Children, women, teens, unarmed citizens are being brutally murdered and massacred by the IDF. What alternate news world do you live in?
