There are certain people that like to argue a point mostly because they like the jousting. Some to learn a new perspective, or to persuade someone to change their position, etc.

Governing people on a nation/state level has many, many versions. Most have been discarded over time, but even today the “…isms” that are in use today are many and quite different one from the other.

It is often said that what the world really needs is a “Benevolent Dictator”.  What I would like to do is ask you to put on your Benevolent Dictator hat and describe the system that you would impose upon the world.

Social democracy offers rewards for achievers without letting non achievers to be dealt with as second class.  It allows people of varying classes to work and socialize together, it offers health care and education for all.  It is costly but some costs are worth it.

Thanks for your comment and the use of the correct words..Social Democracy as we have it in many EU countries……..the cost of the system is not relevant, but it does cost………then one as a citizen can say, well I pay my taxes and I get almost free healthcare etc etc etc, and I dont have to worry about having to buy insurance……….and kids do get it free from as early as 3 yrs old, if both their parents want to work after the 560 days paid maternity leave they are allowed, and its free all the way right thru uni…….taxes do help, i dont have kids but still pay towards those that have…..

Tax dollars, if they don’t wind up in the hands of politicians or other grifters, can be and should be an investment in the operations of and the future of a country.  Education, healthcare, infrastructure are not cost when the money for those items is properly spent.

That’s something that too many conservatives don’t understand.  They don’t understand the difference between frugal and cheap.

Social democracy is less costly in the long run.
Medicare for example reduces health care costs for example.
Even half baked Obamacare reduced health care costs overall.
