One thing GOP and specially Trump do very well is that they have the finger on the pulse of the dumbest and most ignorant people of the country, and by repetition of lies and simple imagery, they create a powerful anger which drives these nutjobs to vote against their own self interest and against the interests of the country.

They think like the dumbest creeps. You and I can’t get down to that level and get confused on how it works. But it does.

The only way to counter this is for Dems to have a decent turn out. Otherwise the dumbest and the most deplorable will continue to set the policy for the majority of us.

On this I agree with you. Dems have a bad record of actually showing up at the polls even though they outnumber Republicans.

But way way back in he 1930s, Germany and the USA were in love, and after Hitler was crowned KING, the USA opened many factories in Germany, notably Truck companies like Ford, heavy trucks were essential for the German military, and the fact that many US banks were funded the Nazi war machine……thanks to Prescott Bush, and I suppose that is mainly why the USA stayed out of WW2 until Dec 41 when Hitler declared war on the USA, even in the USA Americans were marching in the streets with both US and the Nazi flag
