Feb 13, 2013: Peer-Reviewed Survey Finds Majority Of Scientists Skeptical Of Global Warming Crisis

Only 36 percent of geoscientists and engineers believe that humans are creating a global warming crisis, according to a survey reported in the peer-reviewed Organization Studies. By contrast, a strong majority of the 1,077 respondents believe that nature is the primary cause of recent global warming and/or that future global warming will not be a very serious problem.

The survey results show geoscientists (also known as earth scientists) and engineers hold similar views as meteorologists. Two recent surveys of meteorologists… revealed similar skepticism of alarmist global warming claims….

One interesting aspect of this new survey is the unmistakably alarmist bent of the survey takers. They frequently use terms such as “denier” to describe scientists who are skeptical of an asserted global warming crisis, and they refer to skeptical scientists as “speaking against climate science” rather than “speaking against asserted climate projections.” Accordingly, alarmists will have a hard time arguing the survey is biased or somehow connected to the ‘vast right-wing climate denial machine.’

Another interesting aspect of this new survey is that it reports on the beliefs of scientists themselves rather than bureaucrats who often publish alarmist statements without polling their member scientists. We now have meteorologists, geoscientists and engineers all reporting that they are skeptics of an asserted global warming crisis, yet the bureaucrats of these organizations frequently suck up to the media and suck up to government grant providers by trying to tell us the opposite of what their scientist members actually believe.

People who look behind the self-serving statements by global warming alarmists about an alleged “consensus” have always known that no such alarmist consensus exists among scientists. …scientists themselves….dispute the asserted global warming crisis…

The never-ending repetitive onslaught of propaganda since 2013 by the climate-baggers has to a great extent embedded the false mantra in the general public that ‘climate-change’ , caused by CO2, is at a critical, emergency level, and can only be dealt with by the climate-baggers running things.  Adherents to the ‘climate-change’ nonsense can be regarded as ignorant sycophants of the climate-baggers – unwilling or unable to confront their own idiocy…

The ‘climate-change’ hustle is just a scam, based on fake/manipulated data and a vociferous Goebbels-like propaganda campaign.  Decades of failed predictions can’t sway the morally bankrupt supporters.  Evidence of altering historical data is ignored by those ignoramuses. The ramifications of the horrendous, culture/business/economic changes put in place by the climate-baggers are never contemplated – they just want to jump on the bandwagon as it sails over the cliff.

There’s a 99.9999 percent chance that humans are the cause of global warming, a new study reported Monday.

This means we’ve reached the “gold standard” for certainty, a statistical measure typically used in particle physics.

… CO2 is the greenhouse gas that’s most responsible for warming.

Study lead author Benjamin Santer of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory told Reuters that “the narrative out there that scientists don’t know the cause of climate change is wrong.”

With only a one-in-a-million chance that humans aren’t the cause, it’s obvious that we need to dramatically reduce our emissions of carbon dioxide, experts say….

The most recent report from the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, released in 2013, put the likelihood at 95 percent. That report said that in the Northern Hemisphere, the years 1983–2012 were likely the warmest 30-­year period of the past 1,400 years.
