14-year-old Palestinian boy and two others killed

Three Palestinians, including two teens aged 14 and 18, were killed by Israeli military fire during clashes along the border fence in central and eastern Gaza, the Strip’s Health Ministry said today.

The ministry identified the 14-year-old boy as Mohammad Naif Al-Houm and said he was shot in the chest near Al-Bureij refugee camp. The 18-year old was identifed as Iyad Khalil Ahmad Ashar.

A total of 190 Palestinians have been injured in the clashes, the ministry said, 47 of whom by Israeli fire. According to the ministry, an 11-year-old Palestinian boy was seriously injured in clashes near Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The ministry named him as Yosef Abu Zarifa.

12-year-old Palestinian boy killed

A 12-year-old Palestinian boy was killed by Israeli live fire today in protests at the border separating the Gaza Strip from Israel, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

It was the 48th consecutive Friday of protests by the fence since the weekly protests began in March.

According to data in a United Nations report released last month and confirmed by Israeli security officials, 295 Palestinians were killed and about 6,000 wounded by live ammunition since the demonstrations’ inception.

It matters little to the Palestinians ho happens to be the prime minister of Israel because they have been suffering since the foundation of Israel and especially since the 1967 occupation of Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
