The numbers are up – way up.
Early voting is under way or about to start in several states, and so far, turnout is up — way up.
That turnout could benefit Democrats, who are vying to take the House and have long-shot hope of flipping the Senate. The party has seen a surge in special elections throughout this year and last, and could see their highest level of voter turnout for a midterm election in at least a decade, according to an analysis by the New York Times.

I don’t want to sound like a party pooper but I’ve heard that shit before. I think they would do better to report that the Democrats are trailing and that we must get out and vote to insure a victory/landslide. Just sayin… ?

Let’s hope this time it is different and Dems have learned the lesson in 2016.
Also,if the special elections in the past months is an indicator, Dems are really energized.

I wouldn’t mind voting early but there is only one place to do that in my county. I’ll wait until the 6th and vote then. But though the county and state are heavily conservative and my vote will be blowing in the wind, I’m going to vote.

In Australia, it is illegal not to vote if you are its citizen.
Won’t be a bad idea to have such a law here. Republicans will lose the three branches in a single election.

Some non-profit sent every voter in our state age 65 and over a form to submit for absentee ballot. Now besides being able to vote at just about every shopping center in the county, we can just mail it in. Next step is voting online, I’m sure.

Apply blockchain technology and it should be foolfproof.
Wait, I take that back. It would be unhackable, not foolproof. We will still suffer fools voting and the proof is in who we get stuck with after the voting.
