Practiced genocide against the American Indians in order to seize their lands

Relocated the Indians from their native lands resulting in the infamous Trail of Tears

Interred Japanese into concentration camps (known as “internment” camps) and confiscated their property and assets for their own enrichment

Implemented the revitalization of the KKK during the ‘20s

Implemented voter suppression/intimidation laws such as literacy test, poll taxes, etc..

Implemented and enforced Jim Crow laws

Erected most (if not all) of the statues and monuments to the Confederacy

Vehemently opposed integration and school desegregation

 

Oh, and no, I have never been a Democrat!!
