Participant::Trump won’t say if he believes Kavanaugh’s accusers are lying
President Trump on Wednesday refused to say whether he thinks the three women accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh are lying.
“I can’t tell you whether or not they’re liars until I hear them,” he said at a news conference.
However, Trump opened the door to withdrawing Kavanaugh’s nomination after Thursday’s hearing, when the nominee is expected to testify along with his first accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.
“If I thought he was guilty of something like this, yeah, sure,” the president said.
But Trump also defended Kavanaugh’s reputation, saying he would not get into that “game” when asked whether he thinks the women are lying.
“I won’t get into that game. I only tell you this. This is one of the highest quality people that I have ever met,” Trump said. “Everybody that knows him says the same thing.”
About the women’s allegations, Trump said: “These are all false to me.”
Reporter: “Mr. President, there are now three women accusing Judge Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct. Are you saying that all three of those women are liars?”
Pres. Trump: “These are all false to me. These are false accusations in certain cases.”
He reiterated his belief Democrats are using the charges to sink Kavanaugh’s nomination, calling the effort a “big fat con job.”
He won’t call them liars? How many ways can you call them liars without using that exact term?

Participant::All women are liars who accuse GOP pretty boys of sexual assault because we all know that they should do whatever a man wants. Well, that’s the GOP and Trump take on the situation. I am waiting for their attempt to repeal the 19th Amendment.

Trump blasts critics, but leaves open possibility of withdrawing Kavanaugh nomination
That would add to this list:
Ryan Bound, Brett Talley, Jeff Mateer and Matthew S. Petersen, all failed nominations by Trump. Additionally, these nominees have been stalled: Howard C. Nielson Jr, Thomas Alvin Farr, Mark Norris, Gordon P. Giampietro and Wendy Vitter.
Additionally, Trump has had 39 nominees either rejected or who have withdrawn. None of those numbers include the record number of cabinet positions that have been fired/resigned.
Nothing but the best; right?

Participant::Senate probing new allegation of misconduct against Kavanaugh
WASHINGTON — The Senate Judiciary Committee is inquiring about at least one additional allegation of misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, according to a letter obtained by NBC News and multiple people familiar with the process.
Republican Senate investigators asked Kavanaugh about the new complaint, NBC News has learned, during a phone call on Tuesday between Kavanaugh and committee staff. Sources told NBC News that Kavanaugh denied the allegation in the letter during the call and a spokesman for the committee declined to comment.
A Republican aide on the committee said the conversation took place shortly after noon. While Republican staff posed questions to Kavanaugh, their Democratic counterparts were also on the call but did not ask any questions.According to an anonymous complaint sent to Republican Sen. Cory Gardner of Colorado, Kavanaugh physically assaulted a woman he socialized with in the Washington, D.C., area in 1998 while he was inebriated.
The sender of the complaint described an evening involving her own daughter, Kavanaugh and several friends in 1998.
“When they left the bar (under the influence of alcohol) they were all shocked when Brett Kavanaugh, shoved her friend up against the wall very aggressively and sexually.”
“There were at least four witnesses including my daughter.” The writer of the letter provided no names but said the alleged victim was still traumatized and had decided to remain anonymous herself.
A Democratic source said the minority wasn’t satisfied by the Republicans’ questions about the incident during the call, calling them cursory, and believed it should be investigated more deeply.
This is yet another new allegation that the GOP seem to be taking all too lightly.
