Law enforcement and emergency crews flooded a shopping center where multiple gunshots were reported Tuesday night in Fort Myers, Florida.
There was no immediate confirmation of casualties at Bell Tower, which also houses a large movie theater.
NBC affiliate WBBH reported that police had closed the shopping plaza to all traffic. Nestor Montoya, a reporter for the station, posted a photo on Twitter showing numerous emergency vehicles gathered in the complex’s parking lot, saying multiple shots were heard.A witness told the News-Press newspaper that he heard at least 10 shots and that he and other patrons were locked inside a restaurant at the scene.
What time is it? It’s Florida NRA time.
