Very interesting DF……….I too prepare several servings at one go, save some in the fridge and some in the freezer. My latest is what to do with apples, have had about 100 kgs on my small apple tree, and apart from eating and giving away apples, I wrap perfect examples in newspapers and store in a cold dark place, in the cellar……..and I make apple crumble in al forms, cook and freeze them, perhaps about 40 this year
