Microsoft Founded Where?

If I were to have ventured a guess I would have said Microsoft (43 years old as of this date) was founded in Seattle, WA with a second guess being somewhere in Marin County, CA. I would have been wrong.

Bill Gates and Paul Allen founded Microsoft in Albuquerque, NM.

Gates & Allen got started by coming up with a BASIC interpreter for theMITS Altair computer – MITS was in Albuquerque, Gates in Boston, Allen in Washington at the time. I don’t think that work was done in Albuquerque….
