Obama didn’t have a policy to separate children from parents.

Obama’s use of the premises were to unite children with their parents or guardians, and Obama admin had a strict policy that if those children were kept in those premises, it was only for 72 hours to unite children with parents or relatives already in the United States. So they were maximum of 72 hour shelters.

However Trump’s policy was to separate children from parents and the children after cruelly separated were indefinitely kept to satisfy the sadism of Trump and his racist cult.

Hence these were created to shelter children and that too in exceptional cases to unite them with their families, while Trump used them to separate them from their family and cage them.

A castle can be used as a cage or a prison, and the same castle can be used for hospitality purposes.

The physical structure can either be used as a shelter or as a cage or prison.

Under Obama, it was used as a shelter for kids who were separated from parents/relatives before they arrived to US. Whereas Trump separated families intentionally and caged the children in them indefinitely.

No, Obama sheltered the kids who were separated to unite them. That’s not caging them because Obama admin did not treat them as criminals but refugees and they were temporary shelters to protect kids.

Trump made a policy of separating kids from their parents and forced them into cages for days, weeks and months, and labeled refugees as criminals.

Trump also called brown people “animals” so and animals are put in cages.

My post isn’t about children separated from their parents…My post is about children in cages and these cages were build in 2015 by Obama and Obama was the first president to put children in those cages…

The children in question are unaccompanied children fleeing violence in Central American countries…

Obama built shelters for refugees.

Trump converted them into cages by detaining and separating families by illegally giving them criminal status.

 

It is like this: If some frightened children who lost their parents knock on your door, you let them in and feed them and provide them a bed, you are sheltering them till their parents are located. This is what happened under Obama.

But in the same house, a family knocks on the door, you drag only the children inside, confine them and call it a home invasion, you are essentially taking child prisoners. Trump did this.
